Keep on keeping on

The past week has been hellish. Between getting mugged, taking the GRE, and getting mugged, I haven’t been very good to my own body in terms of eating correctly (I’m talking Taco Bell, Steak & Shake milkshake, and popcorn all last night). I’m going to turn it around next week, and try not to be angry with myself for my lapse. It really makes me feel awful—stomach cramps, diarrhea, and sluggishness—I don’t know why I do it to myself. Either way, I have a new determination to keep on fighting the good fight.

    Depending on your diet, if you don’t regularly eat junk food and then pile it in all of a sudden it can cause the symptoms you mentioned. Sometimes it just takes that mental connection to skip the “easy” meals for something a bit more wholesome.

    Sorry to hear about your up-close-and-personal experience with the mugger. Glad to hear you came out okay.
