Happy Halloween!

We ended up giving out berries and apples to the neighborhood chicklets. I kind of felt like my neighborhood orthodontist who would pass out toothbrushes in vain when I was a kid, but at least you can eat apples! These masked kiddies’ parents should be thanking us.

Overall, today was a bit high carb. I didn’t have time to make a good breakfast, which meant I got a fruit smoothie at work. Fruit smoothies are not terrible, but they still have 68 carbs (or at least the one I got). I think that so long as it’s not a regular thing, indulging in the occasional smoothie isn’t detrimental to paleo.

Chicken thighs and salsa (Dinner).
