So Much Better than 4HB (Day 2)

This diet is so easy compared to 4 Hour Body. Tomorrow I’m spoiling myself and running off to Whole Foods for some simple organic gluten and dairy free paleo snacks! Delicious! Suggestions? Tomorrow I intend to go out with some friends for a birthday, so I will definitely cheat a little. We will see how it goes :).

Eggs and bacon (Breakfast).

Mixed greens salad with blackberries and shredded turkey and chicken breast (Lunch).

Banana (Snack).

Paleo shrimp scampi, mixed greens salad, and lemon and parsley chicken (Dinner).

Baked apple with cinnamon (Dessert).

Totals Day 2

Until tomorrow,
xx

    • Thanks Josh! The recipe is super simple: Preheat the oven to 350º and core the apple, but leave the bottom intact. Fill the hole with some butter (1tbs) and cinnamon. Cook for 18 minutes :).

  1. Hi. I’ve accidentally found your blog looking for more information on paleo diet and 4HB. I have been considering between the two. But after reading some of your posts I will definitely go for paleo. Could you please share the ingredients for honey lemon dressing on your salad?

    • Hey Greta! Thanks for stopping by.

4HB is a great way to lose weight fast, but it’s not sustainable. Not in the least. I think you’re making a good decision to stick with paleo.

As for my honey lemon dressing:

      Ingredients
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
      1 tablespoon honey
      1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme
      1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

      Directions
In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice with the lemon zest, honey and thyme. Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Play with how much honey and thyme you want; I tend to put a little more in than called for for a bit of a stronger flavor!
